Catalina is an experienced tutor, who is currently the financial director for an education charity that educates children in Tanzania. She earned Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Notre Dame, with dual majors in Finance and Economics. Catalina is highly qualified to teach high-level math, up through college Calculus 2, Spanish, and French. (She’s bilingual Spanish-American.) Catalina has a genuine heart for young people and loves to both “reach them and teach them.” We’re very excited to have Catalina working with us and our students! Last but not least, she was on the Ultimate Frisbee team at Notre Dame. (That’s your conversation-starter!)

There’s only one word to describe both Ashley’s math skills and people skills: amazing! She possesses a unique ability to bring out the best in students, relate to them, inspire them, break down complex procedures into simple steps, and make math meaningful and relevant. As both a mathematician and an Education major, Ashley is highly qualified to teach math through Calculus 3 and SAT prep.
Sherry is another one of our phenomenally gifted teachers with a passion to instill in students of all ages a love for reading and writing. In addition to teaching the formal mechanics of academic writing, Sherry brings to the “party” a penchant for creative writing, critical & analytical thinking, and enhanced reading comprehension.

Shannon is one-of-a-kind! She has extensive experience and honors in musical performance, conducting, and working with youth in leadership clinics (high school) and summer camps (elementary age). Not only is Shannon a gifted performing musician, but she is also well-trained in education methodology, and she has a unique ability to bring musical analogies to academic schoolwork!
Joe has been fully immersed in the academic world in different capacities for years. He brings to the “tutoring party” extensive experience in writing, editing, and proofreading and an “infectious” ability to inspire kids with a love of learning! He is also fully qualified to tutor math students through Algebra 2.

Patrick is working toward a doctorate in math and aspires to become a college math professor. His love for math is truly contagious! Patrick tutors Math through AP Calculus, SAT prep, Chemistry, Physics, Grammar, Writing, and Critical Reading Comprehension skills. Little-known facts about Patrick: As a competitive Level 9 gymnast, he qualified for Nationals, was the State champion on parallel bars, and placed 3rd in the State for All-Around competition. Patrick is also an accomplished drummer.
